Carmen Andriani


Architect, Full Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the Department of Architecture of the University ” G.d ‘Annunzio” of Chieti -Pescara , and now at the DSA , Department of Architecture at the University of Genoa, Guest Critic at several Italian and foreign Universities, Carmen Andriani has lectured in Italy and abroad on her work as a designer and has been invited to numerous exhibitions of architecture ( Milan Triennale , Biennale Venezia Montevideo, Toronto, Graz, Japan, Istanbul, Shanghai, Al Ain, United Arab Emirates). Her writings and projects have been published in catalogues and magazines on architecture

Carmen has published a volume called “The Heritage and living” for the series titled Critique of the Project, Donzelli Editor (2010)

She has been the director for a series of volumes titled CONCRETE SHAPE, by Gangemi editors since 2005 on behalf AITEC, (Italian Association of Scientific Technical Cement) .

She is currently working on a fifth book titled ‘Concrete Future, A Matter in the making’, Compositori Editors, Bologna, and she’s preparing a project for a large exhibition on these topics for the Triennale of Milan (2015/2016)
In 2013 she won the Lifetime Achievement Award as part of the first edition of the International Exhibition of Arts and Architecture (Arezzo)

She lives and works in Rome, Italy

DeLanda’s Comeback as Filmaker

The Conference will host the first preview-show of the three, out of the new series Continuous Variations, films-digital videos of 40 min duration with extraordinary effects by Manuel Delanda, who will also make the introduction . The series will be shown at the NYC Anthology Film Archives at the end of 2014.
